Formed in late 2006 by Christian James, Aaron Hall and Kenneth Brumback, Farewell From the Gallows is an American Metalcore band. Known for their intense and commanding stage presence, FFTG were a staple in the Indiana metalcore scene and well respected in the Midwest and abroad.
In 2008 they released their debut EP "Eyes to the Skies" to some appeal following up in 2010 with the 3 song "The Brent Schindler's List" with the lead single "Day in November". 2012 saw the release of the group's very well received "Luck of the Draw" album, leading with single "Meridians" and further "Aletheia". In 2013 they released a single, "Parallels", on the "God's Love for HxC: Midwest Sampler" and quickly signed with Red Cord Records.
Late in 2013 the band announced their breakup via a Facebook post but later regrouped in 2022 for a re-recording, "Day in November '22".
April 2025 saw the band announce their reunion via Facebook releasing their long awaited cover of Yellowcard's Ocean Avenue in July.
In November 2025 the group solidified their return with the release of their first single in 12 years, "Glimpse the Sun".
